Day Out with Thomas train ride event
The Kentucky Railway Museum is located in New Haven, Kentucky which offers wonderful activities for the entire family. They have a 90 minute train excursion which travels 22 miles along the scenic and historic Rolling Fork River Valley while on a beautifully restored passenger train. The museum is non-profit and is dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of Kentucky’s railroad and also the people of Kentucky who built them.
One of the show cases of the museum is that it boosts a collection of four steam locomotives and six diesel locomotives with over hundred pieces of rolling stock. The Kentucky Railway Museum is also host of the annual event to celebrate a Day Out with Thomas so bring the children for a great day of fun.
